The Amazônia Collection by Rouparia Carioca features exclusive surface designs created by Hanna Inaiáh, inspired by the rich biodiversity and visual power of Brazil’s largest biome. The project emerged from a long creative process and was further fueled by a visit to the impactful “Amazônia” exhibition by Sebastião Salgado, which deepened the team’s emotional and artistic connection to the theme.
The prints developed for this collection explore organic forms, dense textures, and earthy tones, echoing the grandeur, complexity, and abundance of the rainforest. Through a mix of naturalist references and stylized elements, Hanna brought to life a lush visual narrative that aligns with Rouparia Carioca’s bold yet poetic design language.
This collaboration reinforces the idea that surface design can serve as a tool of cultural memory and environmental reverence, transforming garments into wearable tributes to the Brazilian landscape.
