Revista Experimenta - IA a la brasileña

Featured in the renowned Spanish design magazine Experimenta, artist and designer Hanna Inaiáh opens up about her transition from handcrafted techniques to the emerging possibilities of artificial intelligence in creative processes.

The interview, led by journalist and design curator Luján Cambariere, author of “A alma dos objetos” and “Mastercraft”, came as a surprise invitation during Hanna’s very first week experimenting with AI. It marked a profound moment of recognition for her evolving body of work.

Hanna began her artistic path creating handmade bags and accessories, painting fabrics and embroidering every detail by hand. These early experiences continue to influence her current work. Even in the digital realm, her creations carry the texture and sensibility of traditional techniques—often evoking a tactile, crafted aesthetic rarely seen in AI art.

“I love exploring the feeling of the handmade through digital media,” she shares. “That’s always been a core part of who I am as a designer—bringing warmth and humanity into everything I create.”

Her feature in Experimenta highlights not just her technique, but her vision: to blend heritage, identity, and innovation in a way that expands the boundaries of what design can be. It also speaks to the emotional side of her journey—one of courage, experimentation, and deep connection to her creative roots.
